I am Zhang Fan from Class 9. The theme of my speech under the national flag is "to be a Civilized student".

I remember someone once said: "People, a stroke, easier to write than to do. We always have to think, what am I doing, how am I doing, who am I going to be." What kind of person to be, this question will have a lot of answers, but behind these answers are a basic point, that is to be a civilized person first. As is known to all, China is one of the four ancient civilizations in the world, and also a country of traditional rites. "Speaking etiquette" has been a prominent feature of the Chinese people for five thousand years. The "Code of Daily Conduct for Middle School students" also clearly requires modern middle school students to be polite to others, obey rules and discipline, and be strict with themselves. In our side, there are some students and some uncivilized behavior. For example, in our campus such as stairs often see and our beautiful campus is very disharmonious confetti, the classroom, the corner of the campus food bags can be seen everywhere, and even some students think that there is no relationship with the duty to clean, throw on the ground. Another example is that some students often chase and play in the corridors of the school, walking and shoving, and some students talk dirty words to each other, and even some students deliberately destroy the school's public property. Many of our students put study in the first place, but ignore the cultivation of social morality and civilized habits. In fact, good behavior habits are the premise to ensure our smooth study, but also the foundation of building a healthy personality.

As middle school students in the new era, we should pay attention to our speech and behavior in daily study and life and consciously fulfill the civilized etiquette we should abide by. What is civilization? Civilization is the smile when we meet on the road, is the warm help when the students have difficulties, is the cordial when we get along with people at ordinary times, is the active hello when we meet the teacher at ordinary times, is not careful to meet each other after a sorry, is consciously put the garbage into the trash can, is to see someone spitting after the initiative to stop...... Civilization is a kind of quality, is a kind of cultivation, is widely respected by everyone is a kind of moral behavior.

Do civilized people should be civilized language, civilized work. China is known as a country of rites, and politeness is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. As middle school students in the new era, if we can't inherit and carry forward this traditional virtue, we can't become a qualified middle school students, can't do a civilized person. "Good words in the ear warm winter, bad words hurt in June cold." Civility is very easy to do things, but also the most important thing in life, we should be strict with themselves, start from the usual word and action, respect teachers, unite students, civilized language, we will become a new era of civilization of middle school students. If you lose today, you are not a failure, because you have tomorrow; If you lose money, you are not a failure, because the value of your life is not money;

If you lose civilization, you will be a complete failure, because you have lost the true meaning of life.
